Proposal review process for site administrators and sector specialists

When a proposal is submitted to the ComMark website, it needs to be reviewed by a ComMark administrator or Sector Specialist before any action can be taken. For more information on proposal requirements, see http://www.commark.org/node/106#proposal.  During and after the review process, the proposal may be assigned one of the following states:

  • awaiting review – proposal has been submitted and is awaiting review by a site administrator/sector specialist;
  • rejected – the proposal is not suitable for ComMark;
  • amendment requested – the proposal has merit but needs to be amended to meet ComMark’s proposal requirements;
  • amendment submitted and awaiting review – the original proposal has been amended, and re-submitted for review. Is now awaiting review by a site administrator/sector specialist;
  • pending final approval - supported by the ComMark Executive, pending final approval by the board;
  • assigned to project – a project has been created, and the proposal is now linked to this project, and published on the website.

It is the role of the sector specialist or site administrator to facilitate the movement of a proposal through the review process until it is either accepted or rejected.

This document details how a proposal should be reviewed, how to submit proposal amendment requests, and how to accept a proposal for publishing on the website. Please download the PDF for the full help document.
